Registered Nurse, RN:
A Registered Nurse is a graduate trained person who has passed a state registered examination and who is trained to care for the sick or disabled under the supervision of a physician.

Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN:
A nurse who has completed a practical nursing program and who is licensed by the state to provide routine patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or a physician.

Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA:
A Certified Nursing Assistant is licensed by the state to provide care to patients such as bathing, personal hygiene, hair care, nail care, mouth care, ambulation, assisting in dressing and running errands. A CNA prepare meals, assist in feeding, perform light housekeeping, and doing laundry.

Personal Care Provider, PCP:
A Personal Care Provider can perform many duties such as bathing, dressing, mouth care, housekeeping, laundry, errands, and meal preparation.

Companion/Homemaker:
A Companion is a person who can stay with a client to keep them company and to watch over them to insure their safety. They can perform light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, errands and laundry.
